The School of Information Technology at Monash South Africa is one of six schools of IT in the Faculty of IT at Monash University, which is ranked at 33 among the top 200 universities in the world. The Faculty is on of the largest IT faculties in the world. The vision of the Faculty of IT is to become one of the leading faculties in the world in terms of teaching and research.

Our Faculty office gained ISO9001:2000 certification, and our new degree structure, introduced in 2006, is based on the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery, founded in 1947) Curricula Recommendations.

In addition, all our programs are audited by the South African HECQ/SAQA as well as the Australian AQUA accreditation bodies.
