Not every unit is on offer in every calendar year. We cannot offer a unit if only one or two students apply for that unit.

See the list of possible units. We do not offer all these units every year, and new students should let us know in the beginning of each calendar year which units they might be interested in taking. The list must be in ranked order.

Duration

The Honours degree takes 2 Semester full-time, and 3-4 Semesters part-time.

Should you wish to register in Semester 2 of a calendar year, please keep in mind that the Research Methods unit (only offered in Semester 1) is a requirement for your Research Thesis. In practice this means that you cannot commence with your Research Thesis until Semester 1 of the following year. It is thus advisable that you rather commence with your Honours studies in Semester 1 of any calendar year.
